Last January 15, 2023 at 17:00 PM, Sunday, the Community of Anthonian Institute celebrated the famous "SINULOG" which is originally from the Philippines.

It is honoring the Child Jesus or the "Sto. Nino." The celebration started with a ritual dance by our Filipino Church goers before the celebration of the Holy Mass. The celebration was presided by Fr. Tirso Alcover, Jr., RCJ who is a native of Cebu and concelebrated by Fr. Jakub, RCJ. In his homily he emphasized the importance of Jesus in our life as Christians. We must be like Jesus or the Child Jesus who is willing to submit everything to his parents even if He is God. He challenged the people who attended the mass to acquire the heart of a child submissive to the will of God and humble enough to accept the truths of life. The celebration ended with the dancing of the image of the Child Jesus and passing on to the people. An agape is offered through shared food by those who participated in the celebration. May the Child Jesus continue to interceed for us and for the whole world.
