Last January 6, 2023, the Anthonian Institute of St. Hannibal celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord.
The celebration was presided by Fr. Miguel De Silve, Jr., RCJ and concelebrated by Fr. Tirso Alcover, Jr., RCJ and Fr. Jakub Ostrożański, RCJ the newly ordained priest based in Krakow at 12:00 noon. It was solemnly celebrated and participated by some Filipino Friends and some Polish friends. In the homily, Fr. Mike stressed on the importance of our journey as Chistians that it should be a journey with purpose. And the only purpose is to reach our star, our focus and that is Jesus Christ himself like the journey of the three Magi who visited the Lord. The celebration was concluded by the famous traditional procession and the writing of the initials of the three Magi and the current year 2023. The writing of the initials of the three kings at the door simply mean to ask from their intercession to grant also the people the blessings they need. And lastly, the POLIZZINA which is partuclar of the Rogationists tradition that was handed by St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia, the Founder of the Rogationists and the Daughters of the Divine Zeal. It is a kind of expression of sacrifices that every individual should exercise for their spiritual growth and piety. The celebration was followed by simple Agape.
