From December 15 to December 23, the Community has once again organized the Christmas Novena "Simbang Gabi" in contrary to the "Misa De Gallo" which is done at dawn.
The month-long preparation and the coordination with the various daily sponsors has resulted into a very successful celebration this year. The three resident priests took turns in celebrating the daily masses and the crowd has tried its best to complete the Novena masses. At the start of the Holy Mass, the faithful prepared the birth of Jesus in the traditional Rogationist way while lighting the vigil candle. Daily sponsors had the previlige to offer their own particular intention and also sponsor the agape after the novena mass.
It was an event with much anticipation and every night the faithful came braving the cold weather and the rain just to welcome the birth of the Saviour, Christ the Lord.
