Fr. Miguel De Silva, Jr. is a Filipino Rogationist missionary currently assigned in Warsaw Poland as the treasurer of the religious community. Before this post, Fr. Miguel was assigned in Colchester, United Kingdom for a short time, then in Albania for four years.
He started his journey with the Rogationists in 1980. He studied philosophy at the University of Santo Tomas in 1980 - 1984. He pursued Theology at the Salesian Center of Studies, a theological school affiliated to the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome in 1987 - 1991. He took further studies of Dogma at the Gregorian University in Rome in 1991 -1994. Music is inherent to Fr. Miguel. At a later age (49), he enrolled at the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music, earning the degree of Bachelor in Music Education. He writes music and composes songs.
This year 2022, he is celebrating his 25 years in the priesthood.
