The Anthonian Institute together with the Filipino Community held their yearly Lenten Recollection at Stroma last March 5, 2023.
The recollection started with a registration with a number of participants at 13:30 PM. Then,it was followed by a conference given by Fr. Miguel Di Silva, Jr., RCJ with the theme "Uphill" drawing from the message of the Holy Father Pope Francis in view of his Lenten Message. In the conference, Fr. Di Silva emphasize to the participants the importants of our journey to this Lenten Observance. He highlight too on the aspect of journeying together as a Church and participating in the mission of the Church. The Lenten season is a moment to reflect of our closeness to God and with one another, he said. After the conference, there was the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and the sacrament of Confession and the rosary. The activity of the recollection culminated with the celebration of the Holy Mass and was presided by Fr. Miguel himself. Then after the Mass, then an agape followed.
