On June 5, the Solemnity of the descent of the Holy Spirit, the Community welcomed in their midst the newly ordained diocesan priest Fr. Peter Kosztrzewa of the Archdiocese of Warsaw who has been a close friend of the Community.

He celebrated his thanksgiving mass with the Polish Community at the 10,00am mass and presided the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and right after the mass, he blessed everyone present.

At 13,00, both Fr. Herbie and Fr. Peter attended the solemn mass also in the Good Shepherd Parish as the Parish Priest, Fr. Zdziśław Rogoziński, celebrated his 40th Sacerdotal anniversary. Present during the celebration are the vicars of the parish and some priests of the Vicariate. A number of parishoners and parish groups gave a short speech thanking the parish priest and wishing him for still a lenghty service in his priestly life.

In the evening english mass in the Community, Fr. Peter celebrated his thanksgiving mass for the Filipino community. Fr. Ronie stressed in his homily the importance of the Holy Spirit in the life and ministry of the priest. After the holy mass there was the blessing of each church-goer and the kissing of the hands of the  newly-ordained priest. Everyone was invited for an agape right after the mass. The prayer for vocation is alive in the church and the invitation is still relevant - the harvest is great...Rogate ergo!
