On May 8, the Good Shepherd Sunday was also the 59th World Day of Prayer for Vocations. There was a solemn adoration at the Community in Warsaw presided by Fr. Ronie together with the Filipino community.
Understanding the scarcity of vocation will eventually lead the christian to beg the Lord of the Harvest to send holy workers to His Church. In line with the spirit that animated St. Hannibal Mary di Francia, the Community encouraged the church-goers to learn to pray for holy workers.
At the same time, thanking the Lord for the gift of vocation that our neo-presbiter, Fr. Jakub received yesterday, the whole parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Łagiewniki, Cracow, celebrated Fr. Jakub's Thanksgiving Mass. It was highlighted with the procession from the Formation House towards the parish where our new priest received the warmth and joy of his friends, relatives and parishoners. The homily was imparted by his close friend from the Pauline Fathers and present during the Thanksgiving mass were most of the priests who attended yesterday's rite. After the celebration, a grand reception followed at the gymnasium of the Felixian Sisters.
