On January 31, the Community at the Anthonian Institute celebrated the Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus. As the Rogationist tradition dictates, this is also a special day when the Congregation make memories of all the blessings the Lord has entrusted to the Congregation.

It is called the “Great Supplica”. The Community started the event with the celebration of the solemn Mass at 10,00 and then followed by the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament where the religious took turns to adore Jesus’ holy presence. At 11,45, the Supplica was started. It was highlighted with prayers, thanksgivings, songs and supplications. With all the graces received for the past year, it is truly right to say that God is a provident Father who has kept the Congregation in His heart. Though several Confreres passed away the previous years, we were also gifted with ordinations and professions of young priests and brothers. New mission stations were also established and new communities flourished. With the upcoming XII General Chapter, the Congregation will continue to spread its charism far and wide.
